Write a profile that says what you mean

Make your profile specific, readable and honest about your expectations.

Describe the connection

Explain whether you want conversation, occasional dates or a continuing relationship. Include a few ordinary interests so someone has more to respond to than a role label. Avoid promising availability you cannot maintain. A short, concrete description is more useful than a list of sweeping claims.

Use labels as an introduction

Labels such as dominant, submissive or switch can mean different things to different people. Add a sentence about what a label means to you, without presenting it as a rule for everyone. If no label fits, say so. Your preferences do not need to fit a fixed category.

Check the details you share

Read your profile as though a stranger were seeing it. Remove workplace details, precise routines or information about another person that they have not agreed to share. Before saving, check that your photos and text still represent your current intentions rather than a version of yourself you feel obliged to perform.
